does anybody know what these symptoms are? my mom has a rash on her leg.. its hot to the touch and all over the lower part of her leg and on alittler of her other leg. its swollen. its red

Has she been bitten by a wasp or other stinging bug? Also it could be a tick...needs to be looked at ASAP by a doc. It could be general dermatitis...NO heat applied but ice may help. Is it itchy? It very well could be poison ivy, sumac or oak. She really needs to be seen by a physician for a professional opinion. There are too many "it could be's".

I'm not a doctor but it could be a staph infection and should be looked at by a doctor. It can be contagous

try webmd.com you can type in her symptoms and see what it could possibly be. But the best thing is for her to go see a dr in case it is serious.

Hard to tell from you description. Does it have bumps, or blisters? Is it raised ?
