This is not the same America I grew up in. Americans always had it's flaws and by no means perfect, but there was a day, Decency, meant something.
Today "Decency" has gone through the same inane Re-interpretation as the, Bill of Rights, has by minds who do not care for respecting others rights. Respecting others rights today, means accepting porn, homosexuality, casual sex, and attacking Christianity and the list goes on and on and on.

Don't be discouraged. There are still many around. I live in Mayberry, USA. (Not really the name, but the like.) Everyone knows each others name and is always willing and around to help each other out. Good decent people. Go to one of the huge cities and it's like walking into Sodom & Gommorrah some times. Get on this site and sometimes one has to pry their self away from it and go take a walk, pray, and get some fresh air! Yes there are still people who understand what decency is in this country.

Very little left.. The USA has left God behind and kicked him out of all the Govt offices and schools. No more ten commandments for us, we are free of all that. Hence no more decency as those things come from God himself.

Ah, but is your definition of "decency" not merely an arbitrary idea engendered by your upbringing/background/religious beliefs etc., and is not not also probably different from everyone else's definition of "decency?"

i believe decency is people that have morals and cares about other people.. and they also care how they dress and how they treat people.. they are kind, helpful , caring people...but i think that their a lot of real evil , and just the opposite of decent to me...
