1.) I have a RCA TV with Guide and V-Chip. Here is my problem, lets say i set the time correctly, and when Day Lights Saving Time comes the time doesn't change, so i have to reset the time but the only way to do that is to run the Continious Demo on it, set i reset it to the time that it is now, but when i do, about a 4 to 7 days later the time changes right back to the time it was before i changed it. Is there a way to keep this from happening.

2.) Also i use to have a 19inch tv screen which was basically the same as the one i am using now. I am not using s 25inch tv, and when i cut the tv on, the guide shows up, but on my 19inch tv, i could keep the guide from showing up when i cut the tv on, and it only comes on when i press the guide button, but i can't seem to figure out how to do that on the 25 inch tv.

Can Anyone Help Me With My Problems.

ok, first issue, time: sounds to me like it could be a bad EEPROM. might just be something your gonna hafta live with unless you wanna dish out about 90-115 bucks for a tv repair center.
as far as hidding the tv guide, if im not mistaken, and memory serves correct, when it comes on, press the right arrow button to scroll far right, if that doesnt do it, scroll up or down and highlight one of the bars(either top or bottom, i cant exactly remember,) and then scroll to the far right, there is like a setup or options button there. select it and you should be able to shut it off. WAIT, as I was sitting here i found it in my programming files ..here it is per the maunual:
While in the guide, select the tool bar that says news, sort, channels, etc. Scroll over until the word setup appears on the bar and is highlighted. Select setup by pressing the OK key on the remote while setup is highlighted. You will then need to scroll down to auto display. Highlight auto display and hit OK to turn it off. After this feature has been turned off, the guide will only appear when the guide button has been pressed.
I was pretty dog gone close. hope this helps
