It would have to be the word Rebellious because this the Roaring twenties which is significant because of the prohibition and the people breaking the law by drinking and supplying alcohol. Women, such as the flappers, would cut their hair really short a sign of rebellion, and they would wear shorter skirts and more revealing outfits; they would also drink alcohol at the bars with the men which it was not deemed proper prior to this for women to go out drinking with the men. Changes in the musical taste als remarked what was looke upon by others as rebellious a sign of breaking ties with past generations. Also, the automoblie provides transportation which was seen as trouble because now people would sneak off to date in automobiles and they would often go to secluded areas for the purpose of "necking" or to put in modern day terms making out or kissing.

If anything the term would have to be rebellious. This was the deade of Prohibition, among other things, with extreme changes in lifestyle, new inventions and widespread use of radio and telephone, returning soldiers from WW1. The period is also referred to as "The Jazz Age", and ended with the collapse of the stock market on Black Friday in 1929.
