The Dialogue of the Savior
"And when Judas heard these things, he bowed down, and he [...], and he offered praise to the Lord."
Judas did not betray anyone, and he didn't commit suicide. The world has done too much injustice to this apostle who sat next to Jesus (and to the Magdalene who sat on his other side). Those two were the disciples whom Jesus loved. Did those who were picking & choosing books for the bible give them a chance to speak? No.

commiting suicide isn't a direct ticket to hell, you have to be in your right mind. My grandfather did after having emphysema and later depression and the one thing he feared most was that he would have to have surgery again because it hurt so bad. He was also on medication that was making him not himself, and I am sure my grandfather is in heaven. Judas sold out Jesus. That is why he is hell.

I would venture to guess Hell...but then again, who knows??!?!
God is the only one who can look on the heart, and afterall - He (Judas_ was 'seized with remorse' (Matt. 27:3) before he committed suicide...and so, one would have to question whether or not, he was in his right mind when he committed the act --- or if he was possessed with demons or something...
I'm like you: I believe suicide is a sin...but only God can look on a person's heart. It's not our place to judge.
Interesting question, though. You should be commended for asking it. It gets people thinking.

I often wonder, since he took the money back to the high priest and wanted them to let Jesus go, he repented, but he did kill himself because of the guilt..
I think we might all be suprise to see him in Heaven, but I want be supprised if he goes to hell either.
Remember someone had to betray Jesus?

This is what Jesus said about him:
Mar 14:21 For the Son of Man goes as it is written of him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had not been born."
I think the answer is clear.

recently, they have came up with the lost book of judas. In that documentry, it talked how he already knew he would betry JESUS. JESUS told him he would have the star that leads to heaven. He told judas that people would criticize his name. I seen it on national geographic. People have drug his name but JESUS told him in the lost book of judas that he would have a place with him. go online and go to national geographic website and look it up to buy or research it online

well Jesus told him to do what he had to do. So he followed orders. Why would he be anywhere but heaven.
