What are your criteria for a great place to live? What are you likes and dislikes? Your preferences and the parts of everyday life that irritate you?

Prague is a beautiful, vibrant city, but it has its share of gloomy days and even some snow in winter.

Rio de Janeiro is picture perfect from a distance, and in parts can handle a close up by Cecil B. DeMille. But there's lots of petty crime. Do you want to spend your whole life worrying about your car?

Florence is jam packed with culture and history, but also jam packed with tourists in the summer.

Fiji may be paradise, but paradise comes with lots of mosquitos.

So, there's always a trade-off.

I've lived in quite a few places. So far I have found Italy to be the most amazing country with all the history, climate, culture and food. As far as cities go it is hard to choose but Rome, Naples and Florence are hard to beat if you like the above mentioned items.

I like St Louis Missouri, it is a city, but not too big. The surrounding areas are nice and there are alot of things to do. Chicago was nice, but it was too expensive. I liked Boca del Rio, Veracruz, Mexico it was nice and was on the beach, not too many tourists. San Cristobal de las casas, Chiapas, Mexico was nice too, it had gorgeous views and was a nice colonial town. Lots of European tourists, but no beach.

The Woodlands, Texas. Go 2 the website. You'd thinks it's Southern California only nicer. Hardly any crime rate so it's super safe.
