they taste like regular oranges, but a littel sweeter. I really like them. Weird name, I know, but they taste great!

I think the eccentricity does die out for most people after the first one or two. Its just another orange if you ask me, but some people get excited about the creepy idea of a "blood" orange and have to try one if they never have.

A much more intense orange, juicer, and if they come from Sicily, sweeter than most other oranges. Moro (blood oranges) are great for just about any recipe calling for orange juice. Try slicing them in a shallow platter, and sprinkling fresh ground cinnamon for a fresh, delightful dessert after a meal. Alternately, use them in Sangria. Yum!

They taste very sweet. I had some while I was in Greece, and again while I was in Sicily. The peel is dark redish orange, and the inside is blood red, hence the name. Very Very Good
