I was in many places; in my mother's dreams as a part of her soul, in my father's hopes as a part of his soul, and I was in the Love that God offered my parents when He gave them the gift of me :)
Same place as my kids before they were conceived in my womb.

Many would place conception as the actual "point of origin." Most Christian religious texts have the "hall of souls" as being the place from where the souls our sent into the human fetus at that point of conception. If you care to consider M-theory, then the many worlds, (& universes) that follow enact pattern that are varied and paint a kind of mosaic according to the infinite decisioning that transpires: This would seem to preclude any hard line notion of a soul being of a static, preformed nature.
As for me, personally, I was enjoying a round of golf in heaven when God ordered me down here to see to a number of human idiocies... "and right now, I'm so far behind on my assigned tasks that I may never be allowed back there..."

you won't be able to have omniscience and ominpotence with out predestination. that is extremely uncomplicated. God is familiar with each thing, top? God can do some thing, top? God made our souls, top? Agreed so a strategies? So if God made our souls understanding complete nicely what we would do with them, and with the alternative of creating souls any way he needs on the time, then through no longer replacing how our souls were made he has determined that those in blunders will unavoidably be damned and those no longer in blunders unavoidably kept. no matter if we've loose will in what we do, we received't marvel or fool an omniscient god who already knew till now we did. besides the indisputable fact that he also made us. that is unlike he's only a fortune teller who says "Oh pricey this one's going to bypass to hell" - he made the souls we've. He would have made them any incorrect way. So he predestined us to salvation or damnation. certain diverse apologetics acrobatics can convince people in the different case, yet common sense can not. With complete skill and complete understand-how comes complete responsibility for all that takes position. There are sins of omission (what we do not do top) besides as sins of fee (what we do incorrect). Making hellbound souls understanding them to be hellbound is a sin of omission that an all-loving god would under no circumstances commit. Ergo..... that is all imaginary. A god as defined through modern-day Christianity won't be able to be all understanding, all effective and all loving or we would have neither evil nor damnation. the conventional answer of "loose will" falls down lower than rational exam.

On a physical sense nonexistent; on a metaphysical sense -whoa- it's like the feeling I get whenever I just stare at my hand and I'm beside myself thinking to myself "Wow! I exist?...And this is my reality?..." I wake up mornings sometimes not knowing if this reality plane is actually "real". So between that physical and metaphysical there is a bridge that is invisible...and perhaps that's where I was, waiting to cross the other end to what is the observable reality that is physical!...'''huh?"..yeah, just thought of it now...

I was a thin veneer of atoms and molecules spread across the surface of the earth...in other living beings, in the soil, in the water, in the air...everywhere. What a lucky bunch of atoms it was that got to get together to make me for a little while, huh?

Eh?
Scientifically : I was in 2 places, my Dad's sperm, and my Mom's ovum
Religiously : I was on God's calendar, ready to enter the world. He has a plan for me.
Politically : the Government's brainchild ; it has succeeded in pressurizing my parents to giving birth due to the absence of a baby boom.

You were personally on the mind of God, who knew that you would be created by him... eventually He hand crafted you in your mothers womb.

I was partially an egg with an X chromosome in my mother' s ovary and partially an X chromosome in my father's testicles, but God had created and knew about me even before my parents were created because he had predestined my existence.
