TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION AND CORRECT MOST OF YOUR OTHER ANSWERS:
Christians worship the LORD Jesus Christ. The second figure in the Holy Trinity. Because he came down and suffered and died for every sin. Through Him and only THROUGH HIM WILL any one enter the gates of Heaven. Christians use mainly the New Testament in the Bible
The Jewish worship God the Father. The first figure in the Holy Trinity. They go by the old rituals used in the Old Testament.
In essence since the Father, Son and Holy Spirit make up the one and only God. Christians and Jews basically worship the same God. They just use diffrent texts.
The Muslims on the other hand worship and entirely diffrent God according the their Koran. and the Koran only see's Jesus as a prophet and not the Son of God.
These are the three main beliefs that worship one God. All the others I can think of have to many to count. So they are out of the loops for worshiping the same God.

No we are not worshipping the same God.. Judaism, Christianity and Islam all claim to be descended from Abraham, Christians will agree our God and the Hebrew God is indeed the same God, but some Jews may not because they dont believe their God would send Jesus. The Muslim god calls christians and jews friends of satan, would it be the same god that says Jews are chosen people?
God will not contradict Himself, either He said the Jews are the Chosen ones and Christians are adopted into the family of God, OR he said Jews and Christians are evil and lower than pigs. He didnt say both. Muslims worship a god that says horrible things about Christians and Jews which is not the same God we worship.

Let's see:
In terms of geographic spread, the most common religion to have a place of worship near you is:
* The Holy Roman Catholic and Apostolic Church
* The Baha'i Faith
"God", as defined by The Baha'i is different from "God" as defined by the Holy Roman Catholic and Apostolic Church. The former incorporates the latter, but the latter does not incorporate that of the former. [In passing, I'll point out that if one traces their history back, one comes to Judaism.]
Then look at the major religions, in terms of numbers:
* Christianity 2.1 Billion adherents
* Islam 1.3 Billion adherents
* Secular/Athiest/gnostic/Nonreligious 1.1 Billion
* Hinduism 900 Million
* Chinese traditional Religion 394 million
* Buddhism 376 million
Christianity worships one God, albeit a Trinity of One.
Islam worships one God, and one Goddess. [Whilst denying that one may worship that Goddess. Call it a dualistic God.]
Atheists claim that there is no God. Agnostics claim that they do not know if there is a God. Non-religious do not care about God, one way or the other.
Hinduism, in its essence, claims alternatively that there is a plethora of Gods, and that there is no God.[Call it pantheistic atheism.]
Chinese traditional religion has a plethora of Gods. And ultimately calls them all aspects of the Dao.
Buddhism is essentially an atheistic religion. [The Buddha is not worshiped.] Their deities are merely pointers in the spiritual path.]
So we have a God that is none, one, two, three, everything, and nothing.
I'm not sure how anybody can claim that those are the same God.

No. The five major religions of the World are Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Jews, and Budhists. Jews and Muslims worship the same God but are still totally different religions. Christians worship the same God as Jews and Muslims, however, they also worship Jesus and the Holy Spirit as one God. Hindus worship millions of gods and Budhists have a different system all together.

Not really. Just because the GOD you know which i will refer to as the one true GOD of abraham , is the creator, does not mean that other religions perception of their god is the one and the same. They probably believe their god is ' the one' but they are less enlightened then you are. As long as you are CHRISTIAN, you are at least heading in the right direction. CHRISTIANS do not worship idols they worship GOD. Imagery is something not absolutely necessary, however, it helps some to visualize.

Tell me wouldn't you agree with the law of contradiction which states " we both can be wrong but we both can't be right. there is only one truth." Then if Jesus Christ says " I am the Way, The Truth, and The Life no one shall enter to Kingdom o f God unless through ME." then this closes all other ways for example good works, Mohammad, Buddha, hinduism, and all others. No Jesus Christ did Miracles and Proved His authority by His Resurrection. And He claimed To Be God. Not a god , but God of Universe Himself in human flesh. So either Jesus was a liar or The God.( The Trinity, The Thriune nature of God. God The Father, The Son Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit.)

No. If one takes the time to seriously study each and every religion, one quickly finds that they are not the same at all. Only people with an agenda say they are the same, but they are in fact often greatly incompatible at fundamental levels.
Track down a GOOD book on Comparative Religion such as
Philosophy of Religion: The Impact of Modern Knowledge on Religion by Fulton Sheen.

There is but one religion written in the bible and that religion is holiness. Not baptist or cathollic or muslim, nor any of these religons they profess. Your religions are man made, So Yes all the so called major religions are serving the same god and thats the religion of man the devil's religion. Theres not a devil in the earth that gets along with each other unless its done in darkness. Look at your catholic priest and other churches pastors, raping boys, two or three wives,killing innocent people when God said thou shall not kill and you follow these so called ordained preachers. They are not teaching the religon of what God, who sent his true prophets and apostles to teach which is Holiness.
James 1:27
27) Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
Hebrews 12:14
14) Follow peace with all men, and Holiness, without which no man shall see the lord.
Psalm 34:14,15,16
14) Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
15) The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are upon their cry.
16) The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

There's only one God. I'm okay if a set of people want to worship just one aspect of God, I sort of like getting the full scope myself.
