Last night I woke up twice just dying of thirst, but without the death. Thing is, I had PLENTY of water the day before. And I hardly ever wake up in the middle of the night. I usually sleep like a rock! This has never happened to me before, and I thought it was weird. Any explainations? I'm a teenager, if that makes any bit of difference.

If you're not dying of thirst all the time and this rarely happens I wouldn't worry, I bet you'll be fine... If it gets worse and you notice it all the time and during the day then maybe you should take further measures to have it checked out..

Could be a sign of diabetes, go see a Dr. OR maybe you ate a lot of salty things the day before.

Extreme thirst in one of the indicators of diabetes. get your blood sugar checked. get a fasting check (empty stomach) but get one also during the day.

Has you urine output also increased? Are you extra hungry as well. Have you lost weight despite eating more? See your doctor if you notice these symptoms.
