I don't understand people who have sex and then wonder about stuff like this. A month isn't enough time to know someone's true character. Why screw him and then pretend to go through trite dating rituals like a courtesy phone call? wham bam thank you ma'am.

Ive found its a solid clincher to call the chick later on the same day. They Love it!
I usually keep it brief. I'll say something like. Hey I only got a minute but I just wanted to call and tell you I had a great time with you last night. I hope we can do it again sometime. Call me.
Bye.
Sure theres a bit more to it but for the most part that seems to work wonders.
If he's not doing it he's a D!ps#!t or he's a loser or he's shy and inexperienced so he doesn't know any better.

Yes, he should call. Anyone sriously into you would be calling. As to whether you should be upset--I think it's human to be upset, but I wouldn't be having it out with him. I wouldn't be sharing my deepest feelings with someone who has just given a clear message that they are not really there for real intimacy. If you like him a lot, and think he , or both of you, just screwed up, or it's moved too fast, just inform him that "you like him a lot, but you feel it's moved too fast" , go back to being friends---for a longer time this time--and watch him go crazy with longing for you. Make him work for it though. Really work. Until you sincerely trust his intentions. Believe me--it's great for your self-esteem.
If he doesn't work for it, then he never was goimg to, and now you know--and you can get busy with the man who will.( But not too soon!!!!lol.)
P.S. I hope you're ignoring all the answers that are implying you "made your own bed...". You go girl. Everyone gotta live and learn. And everyone's human and wants affection and physical closeness. It's not a crime :)

he should call within 3 days. if he did not call within 3 days, be aware. get distant and start to see others.
Do NOT call him. this is the time you need to be strong. calling him make him feel pushed, or you are desperate. not calling him also give you an opportunity that he is the one who calls first. If he is a gentleman, he knows he should call. if he did not call within 3 days, either he plays games, or he is backing up. either case, you should back up. (if also means you should not have sex with this person at first place - having sex with a jerk is your fault.)
Remember, self-esteem is the most beautiful thing that a woman can attract a man.
Good luck.

Well, darling; if you know this guy well enough to spend the night, you should know him well enough to give him a ring. I don't like the sound of him not calling back, but if you want to see him again, you should call. Try to have a reason other than 'just to talk.' Call him up, ask him out. (If he's screening leave a message asking him out - and telling him to call you back) If he doesn't call back or if he acts like he doesn't want to hang out then he's really not that interested. Don't - under any circumstances - sleep with him again unless *you* are just interested in a booty call.

Yes, he should call or meet you the day after love-making just to make sure that you are okay and you enjoy what you have done. If he doesn't call don't be upset. Maybe he's busy or he's doing a very important matter. Don't worry. He will call you after finishing he's work.

I think he should call you sometime... a month is a good 'investment', for lack of a better word, after all. If he doesn't call the next day, maybe he's just trying to to seem to eager/desperate/clingy/etc. Wait a few days. If he doesn't call, then I think you should call him up - but don't demand a reason for why he didn't call, just see if he wants to go out or something.

No. Just give him a call and tell him how good he was. He's probably still on Cloud 9 after being with a gorgeous female.
