im not fat ...as a girl i do not like how thick in muscle my legs are ...i just want to cut em' in half...what can i do?

simply answer is dont!

muscualr toned legs on a woman are incredibly sexy - have a look at top female tennis players!!!

If you must lose muscle - well lack of use - rest will cause atrophy but you will also gain fat


very high rep endurance exercise will tend to make them smaller and more defined - things like lunges at 50 reps or squats for 50 reps

Too bad. The only thing you can do to decrease the muscles in your legs is to stop using them. So unless you have a desire to completely stop using your legs to give your muscles time to atrophy, get over it. Muscle is not a bad thing and well defined muscular legs look good IMO.

There are very few things more sexy on a woman than nice, strong toned leg muscles...

but to answer your question, you "lose" muscle mass by not using the muscle group. You can get leg muscles to atrophy by keeping off of your feet and to keep your legs from supporting any weight.

do nothing. or lose a lot of weight really fast. of course, that depleats your heart muscle too, so i dont recommend that. chances are, and not to burst your bubble, you are just predispositioned to chunky muscle. i'm the same way. i run, and my thighs look huge, but they are solid muscle. the good news is some guys(and girls if thats your thing) like that!

I am a basketball player and a track athlete, which requires me to run and jump alot. And my legs are huge! Dont fret about em.

You cant! if you stay off them it will just turn to fat but the muscle will always be there.

Do more aerobic type exercise and cut back on the wt training. This will help you to lose muscle

You should be proud of that muscle! Not many girls have muscular legs! Flaunt them, guys love sexy musclular legs!
