It would take you forever to find the truth if you are not in God. The truth is in God.

I am not going to persuade you toward any one religion. Lots of people want to know the truth, and many religions (including even atheism) claim to have the truth. However, it is obvious that not all religions can have 100% truth. Otherwise they would all agree on every point of doctrine. There are many who argue against the teachings of various religions, and will often bring up several reasons why that particular denomination is false. I don't know why they do this. They are not trying to prove themselves right; instead their goal is to tear down the faith of others. And in many cases their arguments are not even valid.

I have had several people tell me that the church I attend is wrong because of this or that, and therefore I am going to hell. Virtually everything they "know" about my church is a lie that has been propagated since the church began. For some reason people like to distort the truth, take particular teachings out of context, and then present it to other people to make it sound like I believe some rather crazy ideas.

I would encourage the sincere seeker of truth to "go to the source" when investigating the beliefs of a particular religion. Do not bother with the arguments brought up by a non-believer or enemy of any religion, because their statements are often full of half-truths, misunderstandings, and lies. Their only purpose is to destroy faith.

As the Bible states in James 1:5, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him." This means that if a person sincerely wants to know the truth about something, then he or she can pray to ask God about it, and He will answer that prayer.

Good luck.

Well I think to be fair when studying anything or judging any topic u should first listen and study all the statements concerned u posted a non-islamic source and u ask if it's true I think u should read an islamic source and study the topic well.

As a moslem I read some of the so called contradictions they are meaningless and they are probably because the writer depends on the english translation of Quran and so his article lacks the full TAFSEER of verses.

Kind of confusing question, but I agree with the first post that God loves you. I respect different religions as well although I am a Christian, but to find truth we need to subject ourselves mentally and open our opinions to understand what fact is, and then seperate it from what isn't fact. To take into comparison the Bible and Quran, two different holy books that are text to two different religions, is something very hard and then to say the one is contradictory, and then the other to be said to be the same, then that in itself raises not only a good discussion/argument, but hate and anger between religions.

Truth in my humble perspective is not found through searching for it as you would type "Truth" into a Google searchbar. Nor is it found through subjecting your mind, soul, spirit, body or any other part of you into a state of meditation, prayer, subconscience, or any other supernatural, out of body type experience. Truth is lived, in which it is tested, proven and results are visible. To care more about doctrine of a religion at times is much more meaningless than the actual action of what the point of religion should be: coming closer to the One, to reflect Him in us through our thoughts, words and deeds.

I would go on, but something inside me makes me feel like I took a whole different tangent from what you were originally asking. Feel free to let me know. Thanks.

The truth is real and there can only be one truth as two opposing beliefs can't be true either one is true and the other is right or they can they ?I don't know about you, but I wouldn't think so so, if you really want to find the truth that's real from the true God then your best bet would be to pray to the true God to help you find it and the real truth you will only be able to find in the Bible I can help you find it but God is the one who want's you to find the truth so if you humbly pray to him with all sencerity he will answer you he answered me and he will do that for you too if you seriously want truth he will know and act in your behalf but you need to ask him above allo do not believe any one who says anything without seing it in the Bible! "Truth" depends on your perspective. It depends on your programming...your childhood upbringing, what kind of information you feed your brain. Truth depends on how "right" you want to be, and how persistent you are in maintaining a belief. I think that there are about 5 billion "truths" in the world, and each truth is equal. Most religions have contradictions. I may not agree with someone else's truth, but that's my problem.

The Bible is truth...it is God's Word.

"Hillbillies..." is incorrect, the only truth is the Word of God.

I can assert, as can many of God's children, that unequivocally and without question, doubt or compromise, if I apply God's Word to my life, I find it to be the absolute truth. And yeah, the truth does set you free.

God may have made us all in his image but we r all individuals. What is true for me may not work for U. Look into your heart & listen to your soul, eventually with faith, U WILL find your truth in Gods Love.
