i have a friend, (T). he loved a girl, (J). but she is fat and ugly. i wonder why he liked her. (T) is already rich, so it is not the matter of money.

When it comes to looks love maybe blind but have you considered the fact that people have different tastes? Also, love ties the hearts together, so he fell in love with her soul not looks.

I've seen it happen and I have a hard time believing it every time. I guess for those good looking people who are in love with someone much less attractive than themselves, I guess that just says a lot about them as a person and that they really are looking for someone they can connect with past the physical aspect.

Sometimes what is attractive to someone may not be attractive to others. Maybe its her heart he's most attracted to. Maybe she treats him the way the "pretty" skinny girls don't. what makes him happy makes him happy. What makes you mad makes you mad. And maybe he's been there done that. You may see fat but maybe he sees other things, that money can't buy like honesty and loyalty. He's got alot to loose sounds like and maybe he can trust her. A wise man knows there's more to life than just a trophy female.

There is nothing strange in your story.
I have known situations like that.
A guy is attracted by a girl not only her beauty or money.
May be just only a simple reason that he feel comfy when beside her for instance.
A girl who every body can;t find just only one alluring point could be most attractive with her guy.

I think that when you really like or even love someone, and they may not be the best looking person, their personality will make their looks seem better and better. You start to look at the person differently, and see them in a different light.
