There's many things you can do to make his birthday a memorable one.
1. Take the night and watch a movie on your couch with a bowl of popcorn.
2. Take a picture of yourself in something that'll make him laugh and give it to him as a gag gift. (Seen that one work well)
3. CUDDLE! If he's the type of man that likes to cuddle, a good B-Day snuggle will make it great!
4. Take the day and just... drive. Explore places you've not been if you live in the city. It's amazing what you'll find, and you both might like it.
5. Flowers. Yes, sounds cheesy right? Not at all. It works for guys just as good as it does with women. (Proven true)
6. Get him something that has to do with a favorite thing of his. If he likes cars or planes, get him one of those Do-It-Yourself model kits. If he likes a certain type of animal, get a T-shirt with a picture of the animal air-brushed onto it. (My G/F did that for me just recently) Pictures to hang on a wall, a book about a hobby or something else he likes. Heck, get him that one thing he's been craving for at the store! (If it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg of course)
There's MANY things you can do for someone or get for someone on their birthday. Just remember this.
If it's done with love, given with love, and for your love... then it doesn't matter what it is. It's from you. That's all that counts.

well ive always got something that he might love to collect example my husband is a firefighter so ya no what i buy lol or a nice braclet or watch siver or gold chain or a nice weekend romantic getaway if your of age! if your a teen dinner and a movie good luck to you
