I've tried a decongestant, massaging the ear (sounds & feels like there's a small ocean in there!); I'm considering spraying some Afrin in there to try to unplug the ear. I've flown hundreds of times but never experienced anything like this! HELP!!

You should go to the doctor...it could be as simple as a blocked eustacian tube, an inner ear infection, or something as serious as a perilymphatic fistula...it requires medical treatment, especially if your are also experiencing any dizziness, or ringing in your ear. Best bet would be to get it checked out. An ear, nose and throat physician would be a good choice, especially if you find there is no infection from your primary care physician.

It really angers me when people are careless with their answers. You could really injure yourself if you blew real hard through your nose. I surely hope you will not try that!
I would blow gently into my nose while I held it closed. This will relieve pressure but maybe not for good. If you have access to a pool, dive into the deep end and swim to the bottom and gently blow through your nose this way..(you may need the pressure to begin with). Of course if any of this causes pain, stop immediately and go to the doctor.

Have you tried ear candles? It is an old remedy but you can still buy them in health food stores. Helps to remove wax and decrease the pressure in the ear.

Not sure of any websites - sorry and good luck!

I had a friend with the same problem--turns out he had an infection. Maybe you should see a doctor.
