The verses of Rev. 12:1-6:
1 A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
2
She was with child and wailed aloud in pain as she labored to give birth.
3
Then another sign appeared in the sky; it was a huge red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on its heads were seven diadems.
4
Its tail swept away a third of the stars in the sky and hurled them down to the earth. Then the dragon stood before the woman about to give birth, to devour her child when she gave birth.
5
She gave birth to a son, a male child, destined to rule all the nations with an iron rod. Her child was caught up to God and his throne.
6
The woman herself fled into the desert where she had a place prepared by God, that there she might be taken care of for twelve hundred and sixty days.

Jesus says EAT MY FLESH AND DRINK MY BLOOD. Why can't you accept the Words of Jesus. He meant it! read John 6.
You believe Jesus is God and you can't believe he gave us his flesh to eat in the Eucharist!!

If you want to know what the Bible says read on. If your thinking "I already know what I believe" you will not appreciate the truth.
The book of Revelation is a prophetic book so we have to use prophetic symbols given by God.
There are 2 women talked about in Revelation, Babylon and the woman dressed in Sun, moon, etc
What does a woman symbolize Bible prophecy?
"I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman." Jeremiah 6:2
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her Ephesians 5:25
One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, "Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb." Revelation 21:9
I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him. 2Corinthians 11:2
The book of Hosea
From these we see that a woman in prophecy represents a church not Mary
the dragon is satan and the stars are the angels
If you want to know where Revelation talks about the Catholic Church read Revelation 17
So there are 2 women in Revelation and they both represent a church, which churches do they represent?
Obviously since the dragon (Satan) hates the women clothed in light she must be God's Church. And the Revelation 17:4 says that she has a "cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:" She obviously must be against God
Ok so what Church system is Revelation 17 talking about?
"This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits." Revelation 17:9
"The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth." Revelation 17:18
What city ruled the world during the time the Apostle John wrote the book of Revelation?
Rome.
Is Rome based on 7 hills?
Yes, they are Palatine Capitoline, Quirinal, Viminal, Esquiline, Caelin, and Aventine.
Is there any more evidence that this church is the roman church?
A. She is guilty of blasphemy (verse 3).
B. She is called the Mother (verse 5).
C. She has harlot daughters who also are fallen (verse 5).
D. She persecuted and martyred the saints (verse 6).
E. She sits upon "seven mountains" (verse 9).
F. She ruled over the "kings of the earth" (verse 18).
Let’s look at these one at a time
A)
What is blasphemy?
John 10:33
The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
Luke 5:21
And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?
Claiming the prerogatives
B) What Church did basically all protestant denominations come out of?
The church of Rome, Catholics call themselves “The Mother Church”
C) She has Harlot Daughters
Basically every Protestant Church has come out of the Church of Rome and many still retain some of the false teachings of the Catholic Church.
D) Persecution of the Saints
Inqusition more than 50 million people died during the dark ages
Pope John Paul openly acknowledged that fact.
E) What city sits on 7 hills
Rome
F) Rules over the Kings
During the dark ages all kings were subject to the Church in Rome

I don't entirely agree. I agree that your explanation of verses 1 through 3, and also 5 are logical, but regarding the Catholic Bishops and Priests and the persecuted Catholic Church... not so much. Especially verse 6 - I'm not Catholic, but I'm Christian. Perhaps it means all true believers. Your interpretation of Verse 4 could be correct, but I don't think it really makes as much sense as other explanations. You see, the flow doesn't work very well... in verse 1 we're introduced to the lady, in verse 2 she's pregnant, 3 sees the introduction to satan, the stars are cast down in verse 4, and in 5 the Son is born. But Catholicism hadn't even been invented yet, so it doesn't really make sense for the stars to be Priests. I haven't completely formed an opinion on this, but so far that's what I think.

Catholicism in its roots is different from Christianity so no, it is not about the "persecuted Catholic Church."
There are many interpretations for the book of Revelations. The largest part of it is symbolic, obviously. We probably won't know for sure until it comes to pass, like many biblical prophecies.

1: the faithful of Israel through whom the messiah came into the world
2: Jesus and the snatching up of the child refers to his ascension
3: Satan
4: Satan's original fall from heaven and the angels who fell with him or to his ruthless or destructive power in the universe generally over those who oppose him.
6: the persecuted faithful ones of Israel during the last half of the tribulation.
At least that's why my study notes say

Ah, I don't know. But I do know with great conviction that Revelations has been fulfilled, at the cross, by Jesus.
He took the wrath that was meant to be dealt to humankind for their sin. He fulfilled the law and fulfilled the punishment.
That is why the Lord's day, the day of the cross, is referred to as the end of the world. One ended and a new one began.
