I had this same problem after I had my son, I just couldn't seem to get back those last few inches off my belly and ***. Here is what I did, and maybe it will work for you...Up your cardio by an extra 15 minutes and hit the floor for some serious sit-ups. And don't forget to modify the number of carbohydrates and sweets you are eating. Sugar (from both sweets and fruit) turns into the same thing in your body as carbs, meaning that you have to be careful with how much of that sort of stuff you are eating. Cut out all white and enriched flours and starchy products. Toss in whole grain, not just whole wheat, and lay off the potatoes, if you can't give them up competely, substitute them with sweet potatoes, they have about half the carbs. I hope this helps! Good luck!

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

This isn't a diet you should use often, but I have done this and it works, but isn't a something that will create or maintain healthy eating patterns, it's sole purpose it to get over those "hurtles" that are encountered in loosing weight. The diet is a ten day "grapefruit" diet.

Breakfast:
1 Egg
2 Slices of bacon
8 oz grapefruit juice or 1med grapefruit

Lunch:
Meat (in moderation)
Salad (oil and vinegar dressing, can you use other dressings but they must not contain sugar)
8 oz grapefruit juice or 1med grapefruit
You can have as much salad as you like

Dinner:
Green, red or orange vegetables only
Meat (in moderation)
Salad (same dressing)
8 oz grapefruit juice or 1med grapefruit

Black tea or coffee to drink thru the day or (preferably) water.

If you don't like salad or grapefruit, pinch your nose and grin and bear it, remember, it will work. Oddly, tho, you won't notice any weight loss for the first five days, but five pounds by the sixth day and one pound each day thereafter.

I lost almost 25 pounds doing this diet. (I am not big on bunny food so found it hard to keep facing the salad). If you eat plenty of greens and the veg you won't starve to death. The whole point in this diet is to eliminate starch and sugar, but remember TEN DAYS only. You can always do it again next month if you aren't satisfied with the weight loss you achieve.

Sometimes you hit a plateau. It's as if your body rebels. Just be patient. Do what you did before, with keeping in mind that you want to burn a little more calories, consume a little less calories. It will happen.
