Why do Muslims kill in the name of their God? When they say it's the same as our (Christian) God?

Thank you all... sorry if it offended anyone again, I just had never seen a question removed before and there are a lot more that are more offensive than this one.

I hads so many responses that it kept emailing me to many times and plus I think I worded it wrong. Muslims come straight out and kill in the name of allah (lower case) and are proud of it. Why do I never hear of a Christian or Catholic standing up and say I am killing in the name of God?

It was probably removed because someone felt offended. Muslims don't want to be generalized as "Terrorists" or anything.
I think it's a valid question, though. Their texts do mention killing infidels 'n all that, and they're taught from childhood to follow Mohammed's teaching.
I don't know why they just answer.

Perhaps someone complained...they probably took it offensively and they may have reported abuse. You (or whoever) asked the question may not have meant to be offensive or may not have meant to slam another religion, but it was probably viewed as being that way. I had to read the question a few times myself in order to clearly understand what it was that was being asked.
It is just best to let people believe what it is that they choose to believe and not question it.

Most Muslims don't kill in the name of their God. Probably one of the Muslims got angry and reported you. They don't like to be stereotyped any more than the rest of us do.

Somebody must have been offended by that question. Or it could be the fact that everybody wants to act as if this isn't going on, but that's a fact that you can't run from.

I think where you went wrong is you forgot the word Extremist.
It would be like saying, Why do Christians blow up abortion clinics?
It's not a matter or religion, its a matter of when someone who is an extremist taking their religious beliefs and decides it is their duty to "punish" the wrong or "Evil doers"

because the vast majority of muslims do not kill. only a few radical ones do that. just like the few radical christians, jews, and nearly all other major religions, there are those who do their own thing in violation of the very religion they profess to be upholding.
