Yes, I teach yoga and I love it. Why? I can be really stressed out or upset about something, and by the time I'm finished with class, I have totally forgotten about it and am calmed and relaxed.
The beauty of yoga is that you are focused on your breathing and trying to stay in the poses, which in turn helps you to forget about the world and everything in it! It's a great stress reliever, toner, and good for flexibility.
The poses that are performed are very slow, graceful, and very relaxing, it's really fun to watch from the front as the whole class goes into these poses, men are starting to come in more and more too. I also really like the soothing music, almost mystical, some of it.

I took a yoga class last semester, and one of the things I really liked about it was that you were getting a killer workout and toning your body and inhancing your flexibility, but without having to run miles or lift weights. I stopped doing it because I needed something a little bit more motivational, Yoga is all about centering yourself and listening to your body, and don't be fooled by the poses when you just look at them, alot of those moves are really hard. My advice would be that if you want to try it, take it as a class, because if you don't do the poses the right way, you won't be getting any benefit, and you can actually hurt yourself if you're not careful. Good Luck!

Yes, It helps keep me in good shape and also makes me feel energized for the day. I find that when I start the day with a hour of meditation and yoga, my day just goes better and when I don't, I just feel out of sorts.
