Christians think that the Frito Bandito is going door to door, forcing couples to sign divorce papers at gunpoint. Then he runs to the local school, twisting the arms of the principal until he agrees to teach evolution. The Frito Bandito then goes to a democratic rally with his lover, the Macho Nacho, where they spread a rainbow cheese sauce of love.
Christians are paranoid freaks who are so constricted by their concept of free will that they don't want anyone else to have any freedom of action or thought. Gay people have banded together to stand up against this Christian oppression, so the Christians are increasing their oppression with all the viciousness they can muster. Part of this increased oppression is a nasty PR campaign where the Christians want the rest of America to believe that the gays have an agenda, which includes the destruction of the American family. Unfortunately, Christians create the mindset of being sheep, with Jesus as their shepherd, so the average Christian mindlessly goes along with whatever the leaders say. When bastions of hate like the Moral Majority or the Christian Coalition tell people that gays have an agenda, that the Frito Bandito and the Macho Nacho are spreading gayness like a plague, the people believe them.
The Christians created the "gay agenda" because the gay people dared to fight back against the Christian machine.

Alan Sears and Craig Osten, president and vice-president of the Alliance Defense Fund, offer another characterization of the homosexual agenda:
It is an agenda that they basically set in the late 1980s, in a book called 'After the Ball,' where they laid out a six-point plan for how they could transform the beliefs of ordinary Americans with regard to homosexual behavior — in a decade-long time frame.... They admit it privately, but they will not say that publicly. In their private publications, homosexual activists make it very clear that there is an agenda. The six-point agenda that they laid out in 1989 was explicit: Talk about gays and gayness as loudly and as often as possible... Portray gays as victims, not as aggressive challengers... Give homosexual protectors a just cause... Make gays look good... Make the victimizers look bad... Get funds from corporate America.[4]

The "Anything" agenda that fundies of all religions go on about is anything that their religious masters have told the uneducated flock to bleat about.
They go on about homosexuality (and no I am not, thank you for caring) being against NT teachings but Jesus never said a word about it. Then they say that the OT says it is wrong; at that point ask them why they eat pork, wear clothes of 2 cloths, go to church on Sunday rather than Friday evening and don't stone their children when they talk back to them. They want their religion to be a buffet where they are allowed to pick and choose.
That is why there are over 3500 different schisms just of Christianity.

Well, this is really a sad topic altogether. I guess as a Christian I am sick of everybody saying that I should be okay with homosexuality, even if it goes against my beliefs. I have friends who believe that they are gay (who are not Christians), and they respect my opinion. If they desire to talk to me about my faith I am glad to share, but you can be friends with people that you don't agree with. There are two kids that I mentored that are now in high school, and they are being taught that if you think homosexuality is wrong you are racist. When did having sex with someone of the same gender become a nationality?

There is no agenda. The bible speaks in Romans (new testament and in Leviticus(old testament) that homosexuality is an abomination unto the Lord. Wrong is wrong. When we learn in this twisted society to stop trying to blame us Christians for our facts that we believe and take responsibility for your own actions this world would be a better place. I am a Christian and i do not hate homosexuals, in fact i try to treat any one who is struggling in their lives as good as possible so that they can know that there is another way, there are other"Christians" who take a more aggressive approach, but i am not in that boat. You draw people to God with Love, no matter who they are, or what they do in private.

It's the agenda of a continued presentation of gay everything in order to desensitize the country in order that they will eventually accept homosexuality and not think too much about it when they see it because their so used to seeing it on TV and in movies.

Christians need to understand that we don't give a crap about their opinion of the gay agenda because not everyone accepts their beliefs. Heck their are Christians who are okay with homosexuality. It isn't your place to say gays can't have civil unions as we have seperation of church and state, and they are NOT going after your children, homosexuals are attracted to ADULTS of their own gender, not children. Paedophiles are attracted to children. Homosexuals are no more likely than heterosexuals to molest children.

Didn't you know? They have invented a homosexual virus, which they plan on putting in the water supply so that everyone catches Teh Gay. Pretty soon the churches will be filled with men wearing tight, tight shorts and lavender scarves and saying, "OH, you look just FABOO in that outfit, Pastor Bruce!" and of course, all the women will be either dykes or lipstick lesbians.

Some of the answers are getting to the heart of the matter. Many Christians fear letting homosexuality be accepted as just another life-style.
We've gone through this kind of thing before. within my lifetime states prohibited marriages between races, and even removed mixed-race children from their white mothers because the children were in themselves proof of an "unfit mother." (In one case I know the courts forced the mother to decide between her white child and her mixed-race child.)
It takes a long time to overcome backwardness, especially when it's cloaked in religious terms. Remember, some "Christian" churches backed slavery.
