I often find myself meeting guys that i talked to online that haven't answered some of my basic questions. I think it is important to find out stuff like how long they have been divorced , how old their kids are ( are they grown or are they small) , political views, dislikes, etc. before you spend time on a person. I am 40 and looking for someone to spend my life with. I think you need to know certain things upfront before you even consider meeting someone. Kinda like when you apply for a job, you want to know certain facts before you consider it. It just makes sense to me.

I get these guys all the time that say you look great and I want to meet you. They push and push to meet but don't ask questions or answer questions like a normal person would if they were interested in a serious relationship. I look at looks first but then I read their profile to see if they are the type of person I want.

Of course you're right. I wouldn't want to meet anyone I didn't feel comfortable with. I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to have a good online relationship with a person before I met her.

Been there and done that..Yes find out all you can before you meet so your not wasting your time..If they aren't answering your basic questions then they are hiding something from you..Be careful!!!
