UNDER THE FORMER LAW (under 1st Covenant) - actually the Law remains as guide line as to what sin is - but the rituals and ceremonial laws were finished with the death of Jesus on the Cross.

The New Testament (2nd Covenant) came into effect with the resurrection of our Lord Jesus. This has been explained to Muslims and other non believers time and time and time and time again - YET - Muslims and people like you keep harping about the former status of the Law DURING the enforcement of the former code.

Either get off the bucket or get with the program ye stiff necked and hard of hearing!

I MIGHT ADD - That the above is true - JUST AS THE VIOLENT QURAN IS STILL IN FORCE! The Bible relents of human cruelties to one another - but the Quran requires it in scripture. Unlike the Bible, nothing puts away with the harshness of the Quran.

THIS IS TRUE!

-Does Islam help the concept that non secular ideals and practices do no longer make somebody a follower of God as unfavorable to a how they stay their existence? In Islam, each thing you do on your existence is an element of your faith. There are useful policies for each component of your existence. to that end for us, the non secular ideals and practices at the instant are not become autonomous from existence ideals and practices. however the respond on your question may well be a sure. because of the fact for God to settle for you and forgive your sins, you're able to desire to no longer basically have faith in Him, yet teach this perception of yours by utilising performing solid, in the direction of your self, in the direction of different human beings (His creatures), and maximum proper an exemplary existence. the two are inseparable. -How could one examine/use the Qur'an (e.g. can one take it actually and comprehend its message)? sure the Qur'an is greater often than not literal. you're able to desire to ascertain it with a remark tho. the reason being that each verse in the Qur'an has been sent to Prophet Muhammad hence of a few thing that had occurred to him. it is Gods words of suggestion and preparation that have been sent the two earlier or after an journey occurred. because of the fact the Qur'an would not incorporate something yet Gods words, you're able to desire to be attentive to which verse observed which journey with the intention to comprehend its magnitude. -what's the reasoning/magnitude of non secular practices at the same time with praying 5 circumstances and day? There are too many to show yet we could suffice to assert right here in precis: one million. 5 on a daily basis (touch) Salat prayers are diverse from the different prayer youve come for the time of. they seem to be a ceremonial journey that leaves guy and God on my own with one yet another. the biggest reason for Salat is remembrance of the writer, and giving thank you to Him for being alive. Being grateful is emphasised plenty in Islam, ungratefulness to guy, ungratefulness to God is seen because of the fact the reason in the back of an unhappy and unsuccessful existence. 2. Islam additionally makes the main tennets of the religion closed for human changing. till prayer is done in a undeniable way, it may replace over the years and perhaps lose its meaning. Many worship practices have policies in Islam, that inhibit the tainting of guy and his ego.

In Islam, during a battle there is no justification to kill or harm women, children, elderly, or priests. Muslims are instructed not even to destroy trees or any vegetation. So, no you will not find a verse in the Quran close to that.

and icarus62, those verses are concerning people who disobeyed Allah and are promised hell. Not a woman trying to save her husband in a battle!

As a Muslim and a believer in the God that sent the gospel, I don't believe that verse is from Allah (swt). As Allah is most Merciful and Just.

If you were born into a family of Christians you would be a fundamentalist nut. If you were in Dallas you'd probably be for the Dallas cowboys and not the Pittsburgh Steelers... do you follow me?

Your are addicted to your Qur'an, put it down for a while and get some perspective in your life. You'll be happier and God will be too.

The Qur'an is just as nasty as the Bible, and depicts its god as an evil, sadistic monster, just like the Christian god:

[2:126] "As for him who disbelieveth, I shall leave him in contentment for a while, then I shall compel him to the doom of Fire"

[4:56] Lo! Those who disbelieve Our revelations, We shall expose them to the Fire. As often as their skins are consumed We shall exchange them for fresh skins that they may taste the torment.

8:14 That (is the award), so taste it, and (know) that for disbelievers is the torment of the Fire.

10:4 ...as for those who disbelieve, theirs will be a boiling drink and painful doom because they disbelieved.

17:10 And that those who believe not in the Hereafter, for them We have prepared a painful doom.

18:29 Say: (It is) the truth from the Lord of you (all). Then whosoever will, let him believe, and whosoever will, let him disbelieve. Lo! We have prepared for disbelievers Fire. Its tent encloseth them. If they ask for showers, they will be showered with water like to molten lead which burneth the faces. Calamitous the drink and ill the resting-place!

22:19 These twain (the believers and the disbelievers) are two opponents who contend concerning their Lord. But as for those who disbelieve, garments of fire will be cut out for them; boiling fluid will be poured down on their heads, Disbelievers will wear garments of fire, boiling fluid will be poured on their heads, their bellies and skin will be melted, they will be tormented with iron hooks, and when they try to escape they will be driven back with the taunt: Taste the doom of burning.
22:20 Whereby that which is in their bellies, and their skins too, will be melted;
22:21 And for them are hooked rods of iron.
22:22 Whenever, in their anguish, they would go forth from thence they are driven back therein and (it is said unto them): Taste the doom of burning.

... And so on, and on, and on, and on, ad nauseum. Utterly vile.

There really isn't anything much to choose between the two.

Exactly, thats why christian priests highly discourage their followers from witnessing to Muslims because, Muslims follow a much clearer and logical religion and they fear their followers might end up converting themselves to Islam!!!!!!!
