DogFennel - Eupatorium capillifolium

Eupatorium is a genus of flowering plants, depending on the classification system containing from 36 to 60 species, most of which are herbaceous perennial plants growing to 0.5-3 m tall, but a few are shrubs.

Dogfennel contains liver damaging pyrrolizidine alkaloids, and cattle tend to avoid eating it when it grows in their pastures.

I would try to discourage your dog from eating these weeds, or buy some weed killer like Round-Up to eliminate these potentially toxic plants from your yard.

Good Luck.
