I have this weird boyfriend. He yells at me a lot. but doesn't treat me with a lot of respect. He'll go a while with being good, but after that, we get into fights. I love him to death, and he loves me a lot too, but how do I sort this out?

i am telling you right now the boy has anger issues and will probably end up abusive, you better not jump into any thing fast with a person like this. and i am not telling you to dump him either. but you had better have some serious communication between you, and maybe talk to some one . do you know what kind of a family he comes from if they were just screamers or if they were totally physically abusive, you better find out about his up bringing and then you will know what to expect later...

Well if he yells at you and disrespects you then he probably doesn't love you like you might think. What you guys should do is talk to about why you guys fight and yell. That is not a healthy relationship to be if you guys are going to be fighting and yelling. Trust me when I say that it will get worse also

Have respect for yourself. If you do, you will know how you do and do not want to be treated. Sometimes, love is not enough.

I was in an abusive relationship for 13 years. And it won't get better. Right now he is trying to control you with his words. When eventually his words don't have any affect on you, he will become physical. Get out now PLEASE before something bad happens....and it will.
