The Tall Morning Timber

I saw it rising
Hard wood in the morning light
I stared amazed at it's sizing
The veiny branches were such a fright

I snuggled beneath it's mushroomed base
Anxious to feel it's strong limbs so hung
The girth and bark against my face
I drifted off with the sap upon my tongue

LOL
you are gay!
or a Libra?
My hubby writes it too, his excuse is being Libra.
I laughed at him and now he won't share. And the worst part, is that I have to pretend to be sad about it.
Does that make me a biitch? Maybe.
LOL You said mushroom and girth in the same paragraph!

I have to wander if she finds you gay because you write poetry or if it's because of the stuff you write about. think about it:
I saw it rising=hardon, hard wood=hardon
I stared at it's sizing= look how big the hardon is.
the veiny branches were such a fright= a hardon with veins running up it, it was so big it scared you.
I snggled beneath it's mushroom base= you found comfort under a nutsack
anxious to feel it strong limbs so hung=anxious to feel a mans muscles .
the girth and bark against my face= a thick hardon against my face.
I drifted off with the sap upon my tongue= he cummed in your mouth.
dude I don't even know you but I am sure you are gay just by your choice of words in your poem. you should thank your g/f for pointing out your gayness before you spent half your life going down the wrong road.

A lot of people believe that all gay people follow stereotypes. I think you shouldn't pay any attention to them because poetry is not gender based so it shouldn't even be considered girly to write it.

if the person you are will cant understand you, then really what is there to the relationship, dont be with something that cant support you, it may seem like such a simple thing but if they cant support you about your poetry what makes you think they will undestand and support you when the bigger more important things happen, sometimes its best to learn these things out before you take another step in a relationship

Is it that you write poetry in general or is it the context of this poem and perhaps others like it that cause her to say that you are 'gay'? Perhaps she is just not as open-minded as you are about sexuality. Talk to her about it. If you guys are not on the same page, why waste either of your time?

Curious: Are you actually that limber or just fantasizing?

My friends who are artists I call em gay but for fun. Hey they call me gay also. Dude if you are a real man you can make a joke of it and get her to understand. Give her some rough sex or something but dont leave for a silly reason like that

You are not gay because you write poetry. A man is gay if he has sex with another man or lies with another man the way he lies with a woman. You should try to help her understand that you are not gay just because you write poetry; if she does not understand, maybe it's time for you to find another girlfriend.

She may think that she is teasing you. You should tell her in a very matter of fact way that you are not gay, that it hurts your feelings/makes you mad when she calls you that, and that you are just an artistic guy and LOTS of gals would kill to have their guy be more sensitive and artistic (write poetry... that would be awesome and I WOULDN'T call my boyfriend gay!)

Haha. That's a cute poem! If she doesn't appreciate your talents, then yes, I believe you should leave her. Even if she's teasing, that's a horrible thing to say. Shakespeare and Chaucer were deffinately not gay.

Do not ever allow any one to treat you like sh*t.

Do not ever allow a person you care about to treat you poorly.

Do not even waste time trying to make her understand - just get rid of her.
