i believe thats if a jehova witness compared the new world translation created by watchtower writers.to any other translation they would see why christian think of the watchtower as acult.on my study the nwt bible changes john 1:1,3 from the king james or anyother version of bibles THE WORD WAS GOD TO THE WORD WAS A GOD AND THEY ADDED THE WORD {OTHER} TO HIS CREATION WHICH IS NOT IN ANTOTHER TRANSLATION I READ SO WHAT THE WATCHTOWER IS TRYING TO DO IS TO MAKE THERE TRANSLATION FIT THERE DOCTRINE THATS WHY THEY SAY THAT JESUS ITS A LESSER GOD. BUT THEY SHOULD KNOW THAT JESUS CAN'T BE A LESSER GOD BECAUSE THAT WOULD MAKE HIM 1 OF 2 THINGS OR HE'S JEHOVAH IN THE FLESH OR HE'S A FALSE GOD SINCE ANY OTHER GOD IS A FALSE GOD.{ISAIAH45:18.} FOR THIS IS WHAT THE LORD SAYS HE WHO CREATED {THE WORD} THE HEAVENS HE IS GOD HE WHO FASHION AND MADE THE EARTH {THE WORD} HE FOUNDED IT HE DID NOT CREATED IT TO BE EMPTY BUT FORM IT TO BE INHABITED HE SAYS I AM THE LORD AND THERE IS NO OTHER GOD

Wow, that's a lot of capital letters! In the internet/email world, that's considered "shouting" and so is best used sparingly.

Jehovah's Witnesses actually DISTRIBUTE the King James Version and the Emphatic Diaglott at no charge to the householder. They used to distribute the American Standard and Revised Standard also, but that publisher decided not to renew the agreement a few years ago.

Any Jehovah's Witness is free to read and reference any bible translation he personally chooses, although a tribal translation that inserts some locally-known pagan god's name in place of "Jehovah" may not be used for sermons. In fact, Jehovah's Witnesses are delighted to use whatever bible a householder may prefer!

A few anti-Witnesses persist in slandering the Jehovah's Witnesses' "New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures", but secular scholars agree that at no time does that translation unacceptably translate any Hebrew, Aramaic, or Greek portion of the bible.

I'm a witness and I do use the KJV along with the New World Translation. And the society never translated the Bible but got the rights to print the translation witnesses use. The word other doesn't change the meaning of the scripture, God created Jesus and through Jesus things were created. So through him other things were created whether you use the word other or not. Jesus himself made it clear that he's not God, John 14:24 says "he that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which you hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me."KJV
Titles used in the Bible don't always refer to the same person, if that were the case then you could say Jesus and king Nebuchadnezzar are the same person. In Daniel 2:37 Nebuchadnezzar is called king of kings, at Revelation 17:14 the Lamb(Jesus) is called King of kings. Jesus is golike in that he has the same qualities as God. Some say Isaiah 9:6 proves Jesus is God because he's called mighty God, but no where is he called Almighty God or God the Almighty. Those titles are applied only to Jehovah(Genesis 17:1, Revelation 16:14,Job 8:3). Psalms 83:18 says "that men may know that thou, whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all earth." KJV Isaiah 45:18 never said the Word, but said God made the earth. In John 14:28 Jesus himself said the Father is greater than I, so how could he be God is it possible for Jesus to be greater than himself? As to this question__ Yes, when we conduct free home Bible studies we encourage the use of whatever translation the householder wishes to use. The New World Translation was not published until 1961. Before that, we used the King James Version as our only Bible and everything we now teach we were able to teach using it. My mother is a Witness and she first started studying with Jehovah's Witnesses in 1960 with the use of the KJV. I use it myself to teach others. I do not like the fact that the King James Bible translators omitted the name of Jehovah. Instead, they replaced his name with Lord. "Lord is a title not a name. I am glad they left God's personal name in a few places, like Psalms 83:18:" That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth." This way, our Bible students will learn the name of the Most High God.

Charles Taze Russell did not believe in an organization such as "Jehovah's Witnesses". That organization was formed after Russell died. Russell started no religion at all, much less starting a relgion similar to that which he preached against. If there is anything such as an Illuminati bloodline who cannot help but serve Satan, then the Bible is false. Russell's grave is not in the shape of a triangle. Many confuse Rutherford's pyramid monument with Russell's grave. Rutherford's pyramid monument is not a grave; it is not a tomb; there is no one buried in or under Rutherford's pyramid monument. Rutherford's pyramid monument does have a cross and crown symbol on it; that symbol is used for Biblical purposes. I don't understand the question. But the Jehovah's Witnesses' Bible is the New World Translation, which has the name of Jehovah in it 7000 times, whereas the other Bibles only mention Him 4 times.

First of all you are correct about the Jehovah witnesses bible, but you are wrong about Jesus. He is not God. John 1:1,2; 'In the beginning was the Word, and the word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God." In the original Greek manuscripts it reads "In the beginning was the Word, and the word was with the God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with the God." Do you see the critical difference? It is saying that Jesus is the Son of God, not God (Jehovah), Jesus is Micheal not Jehovah.

Amen ,Amen Amen!! I totally agree, all True Christians know that the New World Translation, is a translation they doctored up to edit Jesus as being the Son of God. He is God, He was man, they can't grasp that concept.
