effective. hun, you quite opt to understand an excellent truth about straitening irons, you won't be able to apply them on moist hair (it would reason your a marvel). so dry your hair through a hair drier. then comp it and devide it into sections, quite tiny sections, and commence ironing your hair, dont iron it from the roots, you quite dont opt to advance damaged hair. then do it slowly yet becareful reason it would stick, get rid of it at contemporary and then bypass by skill of your hair back (dont iron each and each area more desirable than two times as you would reason if deadly harm) then resume, and leave the hair in the front till eventually the top, the do it nicely and ask your self it. attempt to placed a DROP only a DROP of hair oil, to grant your hair this comfortable brilliant look, yet keep in suggestions purely a DROP or perhaps 1/2 a drop, you dont opt to have the grimy look. hair oil could help you to keep your hair immediately in the humid climate, wait till eventually i'm carry you a attractiveness of a sturdy product....back its outcomes stay comfortable, frizz-taming serum through chalesWorthington London...this product is tremendous yet dont practice more desirable than 1/2 a drop. then take exhilaration on your ironed hair for an afternoon to 2 days, dont leave it this way for lengthy, reason it receives grimy quick! and under no circumstances ever ever iron hair on a daily basis, because finally you'll finally end up with out hair to iron! (the pulling component quite damages the inspiration and quite makes you lose your hair)

Matrix Sleek Look...I swear by these products. You can use the Straight Polish or the Sealing Serum. They can be a bit pricy, but they are WAY worth it, and with both a little goes a really long way. Trust me, I live in Central Florida and use this stuff, it's great!!

Okay I've been dishing out major BS on everyone of these questions...but my heart actually goes out to you as I suffer from the same thing and often visit Hawaii where it's even worse.
Honestly there's only one answer: PRODUCT. The more crap you put in your hair and the less you wash it...the better it will do for you. It's the truth! I've lived in a humid climate for 28 years....I've figured out the tricks and trades. Good luck.
Oh yeah and don't use hairspray...it'll get nasty and gross and sticky in your hair...sometimes mousse will too. Use gel, spray or otherwise.

use any kind of "oil" that you run through your hair to decrease frizz...usually you put a dime-sized amount in your hand (for really long hair) and it works GREAT!
