My wife is always getting calls that she is past due, and the bill isn't hers, but belongs to someone with the same name. Today she got a Mastercard bill that was maxed out over the limit, and had her address on it. I freaked on her, because I thought she had applied for a card that I didn't know about....Turns out it wasn't hers AGAIN. I was so mad, that when she phoned the company I wanted to jump right through the phone. What should we do about it?

It isn't her card...I really think I should sue for the stress this is causing. It has happend at least 4 times in the past 5 years ( with the same company). Usually it is just phone calls, but this if the first bill that has came to our mailbox.

Same thing happens to me the creditors on the other line do not listen when you tell them . you have the wrong person I am not who you are looking for they say they will take your number out there system but never do. So now I look at my caller if it is not a known number I don't answer the phone because the companies never listen to us.

I would call someone because she may be a victim of identity theft
You can also add your number to the national do not call list

Chances are it really is your wifes credit card and she needs help.

run a credit check....it could be identity theft. Put a freeze on your credit check...check to see if anything is wrong.

No, and I think you should double check her (and your) credit reports. Something is fishy in Denmark.
