it has his social security #, how can i get his phone #? i just want to give it back.any ideas as to what i could do?

You will be unable to get a telephone number or street address associated with a social security number. You'll have to return it to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services located at www.uscis.gov.

Maybe you could put it in a mailbx. They would get it to the right sources You know Federal an all. Or send it to the social security office they would know for sure what and who to contact. Good Luck

Yeah, you can just turn it in. It'll get where it needs to go. I can understand the desire to take care of it personally, and it's admirable, but since it has sensitive personal information you're better off letting law enforcement take it from here. Kudos for working to return it.

Take it to the closest police department. I'll leave it to the authorities to contact the person.
