Well, is there anything you're feeling guilty about? Or did you see a scary movie lately? Otherwise, you might want to ask a psychatrist or a spirtual leader.

Grotesque as in gargoyle, or the Green Man?, or as in cheap horror grotesque? If it is either if the first two I've mentioned, then perhaps it is some sort of protection, or solace you seek. If it is the latter of the three, then you may have a fear of the unknown, or man's ultimate fate. You should seek divine intervention to reveal to you what the visions mean.

Dont belive it.....I have same thing .Its not every night just now and then, I am awake and trying to sleep and they just come, some young, old, men, women, some gentle and kind looking and some that I feel fear with. I open my eyes to try and stop it but as soon as I close them it starts again. I see them mostly black and white with some only very little colouring! This is the 1st time I said anything as dont know what people will think,it sounds so strange!

My theory is that you spend way too much time in front of your computer doing Yahoo Answers. The grotesque faces you see when you close your eyes are due to the phenomenon of visual relief. You're just seeing the impressions of all those Yahoo avatars you've been viewing.

What is "spiritual"? Is that the same as emotional or psychological? It sounds like a stress reaction, to me. Analyze your life and determine what is stressing you out--school, job, family? Maybe reduce the number of activities, take up yoga, go to bed earlier, watch funny movies and TV shows, etc.

This is not a question that can be answered easily with such little information but there are things that can happen to us that spiritual healing can remove, depending on what has triggered the events that you are experiencing.

Try talking to God before you go to sleep, and try telling Him everything that is bothering you.Even though He already knows,I think He would like you to tell him anyway.Try that for awhile and see if it helps. It doesn't make a difference what religion you are, because bottom line line is that we all believe in the same God! We just have different names for Him and different ways of praying to Him.So whatever way works for you,try it.

I'd say you found some old Hippie's stash of L.S.D. "Purple Microdot" was some good stuff. I always got laid when I took that. But stay away from "Window Payne". Really bad trips!
