Revelation 12:7-9: Then war broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels battled against the dragon. The dragon and its angels fought back, but they did not prevail and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. The huge dragon, the ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, who deceived the whole world, was thrown down to earth, and its angels were thrown down with it.
Catholics believe this happened.
With love in Christ.

No, it is just a story. Belief in God's omnipotence means that nothing occures that God has not specificaly caused or allowed to happen. A creature, angel and human, can war against God, but only as so far as God has allowed. As such, such rebelling only in the end serves to promote and futher the Divine Plan of Creation.

Yes!!
Is there a war now? Has there ever not been? The war is both without and within. We are living in a war zone. And there is a war going on within our own souls.
The war in my own soul boils down to will I be self-centered or God-centered.
The war without is about chaos versus peace, about love versus hate...about forgiveness versus unforgiveness and etc.

first you need faith to believe what the Bible says is true. If it is God's word and God is truth, my conjecture is that The Bible is truth.
