i think your question got cut off. but if you are talking about getting "confirmed" before your first communion then they just recently changed the order b/c i had first communion first and then was confirmed but my little brother and cousins did it in the opposite order. i think its because confirmation is about saying that yes you want to be part of the church and so they want you to do that and be sure before you start recieveing the host.

Yes, the sacrament of "t" requires confirmation. "t" is extremely sacred and not to be taken lightly. Your confirmation should be well in place before attempting the complexity of "t".
