i'm working at a summer camp this summer- and want to make some name tags for myself with fun characters and things on them- i want the items i put on the tags to relate to the kids. (two different camps... one youth (9 and 10 year olds) and a junior (11-13 year olds). Both boys and girls

as a mother, i find that kids from 9-10 year olds are more interested in cartoon characters like barbie, kimpossible, winnie the pooh and spongebob while 11-13 year olds like disney character like raven, lizzie, phil of the future, etc....
to be on the safe side, why not make your nametags abstract using lively and fun colors. that way each one would have its own character and it will be unique

I'm 10 I'll be 11 soon. I like Hilary Duff, Playstation 2, cheetah Girls, Any thing Disney. High School musical is my favorite movie in my life time, princess diaries 2 & 1, Nickelodeon, sponge bob, jimmy neutron, {ect}. I also hate sports. This is going to sonund strange but I'm a boy. You wont be able to find a boy with theese qualities. But my 3 best friends are girls and they like everything I like.

I'm 11 going on 12. iPods, computers, cell phones. Love 'em all. Lots of my friends are into sports -- softball, basketball, soccer. I'm a girl FYI. My guy friends are into video games. Sonic the Hedgehog, MegaMan, those types of things. Everyone loves ice cream and sweets. Hehe. OMG! My class is totally into American Idol and Zoey 101! Oh, and we HATE High School Musical. From the ages 11-13 have been coming across fancy accesories like i pods, x boxes, blackberrys (portable computers), and fancy digital camera cellphones. From the ages 9 and ten they have fancy gizmos like cellphones only to call your mom or dad, gameboys, ect. They watch shows like american idol, nickelodeon, star world, ect. Hope I could help.

I never liked Barbies, so I would take LPS over that anyday (even though i have no idea what lps is) and I would rather watch Blues Clues (wont say dora cause i hate dora) over watching Raven cause I hate Raven. Maybe she just doesnt like those certain things that you think that she should. It's not that she isnt smart enough to watch those shoes. It's just her taste.

11-13 yr old girls, jewels and flowers, bon-ton bunny and monkeys are also the thing this year.
9-10 boys, sport references, camouflage, glow in the dark items bugs

Girls still love teddy bears, painting their nails, Polly Dolls, and crafts. Boys love the peel off tatoo's, cars. For the 9/10 yr. olds.
The older ones are into making jewelry, and music.

I have a 9 yr old boy and he lives and breathes Poke'mon. He can tell you everything about them. Also cartoons on Nick and Cartoon Network.
