Religion is the opiate of the masses and all. Get rid of all of it.
But then you have the people for whom the fear of imaginary overlords in the sky is the only thing keeping them from being absolute bastards and monsters to their fellow man.
A human who believes humanity (and thus, himself) to be the supreme authority might be scarier than the psychotic fundie with an imaginary 'higher calling.' Then again, delusions are delusions either way.
Still, no progress will be made if so many of us presume to know the mysteries of the universe are contained in dubious fairy tales written thousands of years ago during the depths of human ignorance. WE DON'T KNOW. Anyone who says they do is LYING.
Get rid of it, and see if humankind can love one another without it being an edict from some supreme being who will set you on fire if you disobey.
If we can't, maybe it's time to make room for another species.

I dont know, I only know Islam clearly is the disease of humanity.
Muslims are human, and if cured of the disease, pose no threat to humanity.
I dont know the answer, and of course I prefer the most peaceful solution, but never at the expense of a real solution.
Human rationalize everything. We keep thinking "all humans are inherently good" and then expecting the world to conform to that view.

Of course not! It is a valid religion just like Christianity, and no matter how much people try to cover it up, Christianity calls for martyrdom too. It is so hypocritical for Christians to say how bad Islam is for believing in suicide bombers when Christianity is BASED on the martyrdom of JESUS CHRIST. Remember, like, how he "died for your sins" have you heard that one? Cause thats martyrdom.Those religions are one and the same, and people need to face up to that.
