Your dad obviously has not learned how to be a dad. It's not your fault, he was probably not loved as a child either--or maybe he's mad about choices he's made in his life. Again, it's not your fault. If you can, ask him why. If not, try to find a relative who can help you understand why he would say that. Remember that you have a Heavenly Father who will always love you. If all else fails, pray to Him for help. You are loved.

If you can talk to him, ask him if he meant it or if he was just very mad and frustrated. Sometimes, parents get upset at things that are happening in their world, maybe at work or other places, and they take it out on people at home.
If he did, don't take it personally. It's not your fault. Talk to your mom or aunt or someone else in your family that you feel comfortable with. Tell them how you feel about what he said.
Then, I want you to find a teacher at school who you can talk to. It's important that you hear other people's view on things, so you'll know you're not alone. Make sure it's someone you can trust.
A lot of teenagers go through this. It's great that you asked and didn't keep it locked up inside.

No one defines who you are but you. Your Father (I had a hard time calling him that) is an ignorant man. He does not realize what he has done to your emotions by saying those words. Don't let anyone even a parent make you feel less than what you are. Be a good person and study hard and make something of your self. Do what is right for you and don't let him bring you down.

That is truly a sad thing. If your father doesn't want anything to do with you or doesn't love you, you still have your family who I'm sure loves you dearly. Many young people like yourself grow up without fathers in their lives and turn out just fine. Trust that your family loves you, you don't have to include him in your life, or any negativity for that matter. Wish you the best, you'll be fine and you'll do fine without him!

Just be a kid. Go out and play, eat like a horse and do good in school. Forget what he said. if he means so what. His love is not the only love in the world. You will grow up and find someone who really loves you.

Find out why he said that. Did he really mean it or was it something out of anger.
Also talk to your mother about this and get her advice on what to do.
Do you have close relatives such as grandparents, aunts or uncles who you can talk to? If you can't talk to your mother or father about this, talk to them and get their advice and support.
Best of luck.
BTW, don't stop loving your father even if he says he doesn't love you. Two wrongs don't make a right.

Have you tried counseling? Do not be ashamed about talking to someone about this. It will help ease the shock of such news which can be very damaging in your growing process. Know today that if no one told you today they love you, God loves you and so do we! Good luck!!!

How could anyone say that. You need to move on you father will realize he was wrong. If he never speaks to you again then it's his loss. Think about people who never had fathers. You can make it w/out him.
