the poroblem is you are asking for the job description for a rank instead of an mos or military occupational specialty. that is like asking what is the job description of a foreman...well..that depends..what is the industry..what type of job..you need to know the mos. primarily a soldiers basic job is to be an infantryman...at least in the Marine Corps it is..but everyone has training in what their specialty is..that is their mos..that is what has a job description. oops..didn't see MP..sorry..bsically an MP is a cop and a general pain in the butt to everyone. they provide base security. they patrol off base to insure conduct of soldiers on liberty. they do traffic control on base. etc

To do work that normally makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. And, to be told to do so by people without any sense or education that are so stubborn and stupid that they refuse to listen to persons of lower rank with better sense and education!
Poor PFC....do yourself a favor and get outta there quick!

It is doing what ever he is told... and it depends on what his assignment is at the mp station. It could be anything from patrols to guard duty.
