No, he rose again on the third day and went to heaven to be with God- if there is no body, then there is no funeral. He did not "die" Only for 3 days was he considered "dead" and yes he was put in a tumb, just like everyone else in that time period.

I'm not a christian, nor do I really believe in Christ, but I know that the bible says he died on the stake or cross and was wrapped up in cloth and entombed in a tomb -like a cave and a big rock placed at the entrance........Then they say he came back to life.....whatever.
