Don’t say, "get it thinned", because I already did and it made my hair poofier, and it didn't fell any thinner. I was thinking about getting choppy layers. Pics would be APRRICIATED.

Tell your stylists to give you lots of layers using point cutting and deep notching. These techniques will help your hair lay flatter and it's really modern and "in style" right now. I just performed a haircut like this today, it totally rocked and my client loves it even if she wears her hair straight or wavy ( her hair is about 3 inches past shoulders)

Consult with a professional, experienced hair stylist before getting it cut-A GOOD haircut with the 'right layering' will work-also ask your stylist how experienced they are with razoring--if done well and correctly-it can do wonders. And yes-the right products will work as well-Redkens smooth down is good and the Matrix orange line for smoothing is good as well.

I am sorry to tell you that there is no way other than getting it fixed with a curling or starightening iron. I am so sick of my thick and poofy hair, but I found out that a curling iron does wonders for my hair.
