I've gotten many phishing emails...but each time I get an email (like the one I got the other day saying my payment for $400.00 had been sent to someone through Pay Pal) I check my account immediately to be sure...if you ever get an email like that and you know you didn't buy anything for that amount do not respond! Open another browser and log on to the account that way...never use the link in the email...that's how you get screwed. After confirming that the transaction didn't happen forward the bogus email to pay pal, eBay, or whoever else it was supposed to be from. Yahoo, Pay Pal, and eBay have forwarding address for phishing emails...good luck.

No, but my brother and my mom have been phished before on E-Bay. They didn't fall for it, though. E-bay never calls you "Dear (insert e-mail address here)".
