What are some good ideas to not feel about about feeling single?

I want to be able to experience having someone love me, having feeling for me back Etc. But I know it is not meant for me to be with someone now, but what can I do to not have my mind on it? Any ideas. Help a single girl out :)

Oh, where do I start?! There are so many things out there to experience in life other than being with someone. First, you need to experience what it's like to really love yourself. Second, find out who you are (not just who you are when you are with someone). What kind of things do you like? What are some things that you've always thought about doing but never did? What are some things that you've never tried because you assumed you would'nt enjoy them. Experience everything! Even if it's something you feel corny doing, you may suprise yourself by finding a new passion. Go to a play, comedy theater, art museum. Take up yoga, tantric meditation, dance. Find a creative outlet for your emotions such as music, writing, painting or drawing (even if you don't think you're any good. After all, you're doing these things just for you). Take a FunEd class. Explore your spiritual side. If you don't hold to a certain religion, but feel you are a spiritual person, get some books and explore some different spiritual teachings. Anything. There is so much out there and the more you experience the more you will grow as a woman.

I love being single. It does something for my ego when different women act interested in me, and I don't have to choose any of them at the moment. I can wait until the time is right, or someone comes along that I cannot resist!

Until then, I enjoy my own company, learn new things, wallow in self-indulgence of my favorite things, and get as fit as I can, so that I can look good for a long time. Hope some of this helps, somehow.

Get over it. The odds are against you having anyone. With all of the competition between women and losses being blamed on men cheating when lured by one of your gender probably will lend you to not having a permanent man ever. We do not stay with one too long, I mean why conform to you and your ways when we can change every so often, kinda like the giant pass around pack. Look at it this way, you could always become a lesbian.

I am married and I wish I was single. I know it gets lonesome sometimes, but find yourself a killer romance novel or a good movie. Girlfriends are the bomb too. When you're single, you're not subject to the bullshit that men always put you through.

i know what your feeling. i am a beautiful educated hard working single mom and i am still waiting for mr right. i have dated so many mr wrongs that i choose to be single. so it gets lonely sometimes but i keep myself busy with family, work and friends. and have a good time. but there are times when i would like to be whined and dined by a sexy dude but i wont just settle for anything and casual sex just wont work.
