Skip Away. As a three year old he beat Cigar in the Jockey Club Gold Cup. At 4-5 he made 20 starts, winning 11 and hitting the board in 19. His wins include the Breeder's Cup Classic, Woodward, Hollywood Gold Cup, Suburban, Gulfstream Park H, Donn H., Pimlico Special, etc. He won 9 straight races from 1997-1998. He was named Horse of the Year in 1998 and Champion Older Horse in 1997 and 1998. He also was a champion in his 3yo season. Overall his record was 38-18-10-6 and earnings of $9,616,360.
