Go Australian!!!!!!!!!

Ford Falcon FPV F6 Typhoon... I have one, and it is a 4.0 Litre, 6 Cylinder, DOHC, Intercooled Turbo with a 6 speed manual.

Mine is modified and runs 10.1 second quarter mile. Not bad for a full size four door family car that weighs over 3000 pounds!!

Check out www.fpv.com.au or www.ford.com.au

Foreign. Never again will I bother with a domestic. I bought a brand new GM that had to go back to the dealer every two weeks. After nine painful months I sold it at a huge loss just to be rid of it. Every rental car they put me in was domestic and a pile of junk too. There ended my donation to the US auto industry. It was so bad I wouldn't even consider a foreign make that was assembled in north america. While I'm all for supporting your own country, I won't buy junk just so my neighbor has a job building that junk. Buying domestic cars is charity, not a wise financial decision. They haven't built anything decent for over 25 years, no sense in waiting any longer for them to change.

As A kid I built up a 67 mustang fastback. You could steer the thing with the throttle, (That's right, We made up drifting back in the 70's). I later found out that the whole thing was just an effort to boost my weak ego.
Find out why your ego needs a fast car first and you my save yourself many thousands of dollars just trying make up for your own self perceived inadequacies. The amount of money you invest in hopping up a car can easily equal the amount you need for a down payment on expensive real-estate. A $50K investment can make you $200K in a couple of years. The chicks really dig that stuff.

Are you reading my mind? :) I was just looking at couple of cars that I wish I could get, but right now... I won't even be able to afford buying even one wheel on either one of those cars... lol

I was just wishfully thinking of getting a car that's not yet on the market... they'll start selling it in 2008: Saab Aero-X . I'm not quite sure how much it'll cost, but it looks so beautiful and I wish they already gave that car to the public :) Or, if that won't work out... I would love to get another car in my favorite color (Sushine Yellow!): 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo... I believe, both of them are foreign cars, and they've done a wonderful job of building those cars too :)

I might sound nuts... but I liked those cars when I first saw them :) However, to be a little bit more realistic... I wish I had a nice little car that can be a little bit of everything in it, and will be able to get me from point A to point B without having to go through point D :)

a REAL mechanic will ask what is it your looking for in a car hp or torque or how money are you trying to spend or reliability or your just trying speed down a highway. Quick run down domestic provides you with more torque, power off the line and consumption of every drop of gas in you car but for foreign give you compact power as opposed to the 2700-3000+ vehicle that is lined up with you. Domestic is allot cheaper to build engine wise but the foreign take more pride in their engineering.
