Put it in a room where she feels safe. Usually a bedroom. somewhere "out of the way" and away from foot traffic so it will be quiet and calm where she won't be disturbed. Also make sure her food and water and litterbox are placed somewhere nearby with easy access, too, as she's not going to want to get far from that box once she gives birth.
Good luck -- you're in for an adventure.

Cats give birth where they feel the most comfortable. Take a look around and where she usually lays, that's probably where she will go to have them. Put the box there. After you notice her going into labor, you can move her. I did that with my cat. She began having them on my bed (her favorite place to nap) and once I noticed she was about to do it, I moved her underneath my bed. She was perfectly happy there and I stayed the whole time. You may need to help, so I recommend you do that too.

try a baby playpen with old blankets in a dark, quite, cool, room or unused place in the home. it also helps to put her in a room that she is most comfortable in, this might help but they usually find a secluded safe spot on there own. if she is unable to get in and out of the playpen you can cut a whole in the playpen side to give her a way in and out and restitch it after the kittens are born also place a blanket on top the playpen if you cut it to give her a sense of being secluded. this also makes it easier to find the kittens after they are born. it worked for me twice.

The traditional spot is a closet (with the door left constantly ajar, of course). A closet provides three close walls, darkness, and (if there are long coats or dresses hanging down) a sense of camouflage.

you should put it in a corner of a quiet room. example: your bedroom also, make sure that she has food, water and a litter box a few feet away from the box so that she can have a break from being a mom.

make a box all ready for her in a quiet place. But wherever you put it, she will choose where to have her kittens. Wherever she has them, she will make sure they are safe.! good luck with the new kittens!

She's definitely going to go where she feels most comfortable, so if she has a quiet place she likes to normally sleep, you might want to try there.
Also, unless she's a purebred that you're breeding, after she has her litter you might want to consider having her fixed. If money's the issue, there are a lot of low cost spay/neuter programs around the country.
Here's a couple of links you might want to check out:

Good luck with your kittens!

Oh you can put it where you want. She will find her own place. Most likely in your closet. Some where in her fave place. Where she is safe.
