Hate is a pretty strong word. Everyone experiences times when they don't like what 'mom' says or does and the crushing feeling may feel like hate, but it's not. Your mom is the one person you have known all your life and as you get older you'll see that she is also your best friend because she loves you unconditionally and would give her life to keep you out of harm's way. I think you love her very much but right now you're not very happy with whatever is going on with you two. Take a break, count to ten, think about the situation and in this case how you would handle it if you were the mom.

I thought I hated her; then one day an 8.3 earthquake hit where I lived, and a lot of things became very clear to me; and one of them was that no matter what, she is my Mother. So, I called her on the phone; after not talking to her for over 3 years, and told her I loved her and that I wanted to clean the slate. We talked for hours; and she got to hear my son's voice over the phone for the first, and what turned out to be the last time. That was at the end of August; she died January 13th; and I was so glad that I was able to mend that "open wound" in my life.
Now, when I hear a friend or acquaintance say that they just hate their Mother, I tell them that life is too short to be bitter; and you never know when tomorrow might not come for either her, or you.

Mom is okay. Sometimes I get annoyed by her, but then I know that without her I wouldn't have a ride to school or somebody to provide me what I need-clothes, food, shelter.
I think a person hating their mom is wrong because we're all lucky if we have a mom. I know people who don't have a mom and I'm sure they'd like one. So before I say, "I hate my mom" I think about how grateful I am to at least have one.

When I was a little kid, I hated and resented her because she worked 3 jobs and was never home to spend any time with me.

When I was in my teens, I hated her because I thought I knew everything about what I wanted out of life, and she refused to allow me to pursue it.

When I had my own kids, I realized how much I actually needed my mom around and that I do love her. We genuinely get along (in small, controlled doses LOL) and we'll go out together to hang out.

I would never hate my mom! I love her very much she is there when noone else is and she stands by me nomatter what. She brought me in this world and basically struggled her whole way. 2 kids and with 2 deadbeat dads and no child support. She did her best and so i can proudly say She is MY MOM and I LOVE HER>

Some times I feel like I hate her but you can hardly ever hate your mom because she is the best to me.

Personally, I love my mother. I feel she is one of my best friends. I can confide in her and her opinion of me doesn't change. We haven't always felt this way, only about 4 years ago did our friendship become this strong, due to a difficult situation in my life. I turned to her, because I knew she was my mother and she would accept me no matter what. Right now, I don't know what I would do without her.

its hard to like our mom's specially if they get in our way. Sometimes is for better, we can learn from them. Some other moms are just plain mean..but talk to her.. love her..while you can..

My mom and I, never had a good relationship, until I talk to her and ask her if I did something wrong... she had some hard feelings against me.. but we are fine now..

Now she is sorry we didn't spend more time together...

LOVE her ... the ball is in your court!!!
