Think about it...if diet pills worked, would there be any fat people?? No way! Now for your age, I'd say all you need to do is eat correct portions, stop the fast food and drink alot of water (no sodas) and up your activity to about 30 minutes a day. And you can do that in 10 minute incriments. Say you ride a bike for 10 minutes, then walk 10 minutes, then go walking in the mall for 10 minutes....it all adds up to 30 minutes and is the same as doing 30 min. at the time. Look up "Exchange Diet " on line and you'll find one that will fit your life style. You have to burn up 3500 calories in order to lose a pound. So if you're losing 1-3 pounds a week, you're doing good. Just stick to a wholesome variety of whole grains, fresh fruit/veggies and lean meats and the moderate activity and the pounds will melt off. Don't be so hard on yourself. If you lose just 5 lbs. that will be a great accomplishment! God bless!

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Well, as your are 13, you shouldn't try diet pills, that stuff is bad for you. Have you ever noticed that their ads say to use them in conjunction with proper diet and exercise? Well, the only things you need are proper diet and exercise. So, first off, you need to lower your sugar and salt intake, then you need to so some type of exercise 30 minutes at a time, 3 times a week at least. Also, you need to drink 64 ounces of regular water a day, no sweetened waters, no flavored waters. You can squeeze lemon or lime into your water to make it a little yummier. Water is key. A good bit of your weight is water weight. You may loose a few pounds or more in a week just from drinking your water. The deal is, your body is in fear of not having any water when you are not drinking enough water. The body then freaks out and reserves water. Once you start drinking the water you need, your body will let go of the reserved water. Also, you need to eat 5 meals a day: three healthy meals...look at your food pyramid for each day....and two healthy snacks. Also, don't eat for at least three hours before bedtime. Believe me, I lost 10 pounds or more a month doing all this. It's not hard at all, you just need determination and discipline to do it! Good luck.

Do you really need to loose 20 lbs by end of July or just what peer pressure thinks you should weigh? I'd talk to your mom/doctor before trying to loose that much weight in 2 months.

well go througgh your food and dont eat any thing over than 100 calories per serving work out at the gym do sum sit ups drink lots of water cause it makes you ful it will make you feel fatter for about half an hour but it will leave and i water makes you lose wait because it helps fil u up

Um i dont know about the pills but i do know that if u sweat a lot, u burn calories and then u start 2 lose weight.
