I asked someone "Are you still mad at me?" And she replied "I can never be so mad at you." Did she mean I couldn't be more mad at you or I can never get too mad at you? So is she mad or not?

It honestly depends on the tone of voice she used. If she said in a hateful voice, then you can kinda tell where she's going with it. If she said it in a sweet voice, she may have been sarcastic. If she said it in a serious tone, then she isn't mad at you. I took the sentance as she couldn't be any madder than what she already is.

thats wierd. How was the tone in her voice? The words sound like she's mad, but the tone may have meant she's NOT. Go w/the tone

I could possibly mean that the person is upset by what happened but cannot possibly get mad at you to the extent that she was injured by whatever comments/actions... were made.

She is mad but won't slap you.

It means that the person feels that they CANNOT be mad at you.

Although they probably still are.

It doesn't matter. Presume she is still mad at you and apologize for whatever it was that made her mad. You can't go wrong that way.
