if you can, give me a source of some kind. is there a way you can tell? or is it an exact replica. i really need to know.

Most original documents have a signature in pen, a water mark, or a crimped logo. You should contact the place where you need to send the original document and see if a copied document will do. Some contests require an original sales receipt and you can tell that from a copied one.

Faxes usually have a day and time stamp on them, a source number too. Faxes are almost always of dreadful quality - so if it's good and there's no extra crap on it, it's PROBABLY original... but I'm pretty sure that's not the answer you're looking for.

If your office buys good quality paper, you can raise the sheet up to the light and look for the watermark.
