Yes, you could, if you made sure you weren't breaking local and state fire laws, air pollution laws, took responsibility for the remains (which are still yours, and thus your responsibility), and didn't break any laws regarding the proper disposal of automobiles or toxic substances. In addition, you can't use your insurance, as this would be fraud (you torched it).

There may be other laws to consider, but you could always donate it, even to a movie maker for destruction by fire!

It would depend on the state you live in ( if you live in the US)

In some states even if it is yours, you may or may not be allowed to buy it by various statues at least without a permit from the fire department ( and of course there could not be any insurance on it, and there could not be a loan against it

To commit arson you must burn the property of someone else or burn your own property for the insurance.
But if you burn your truck, it would not stop them from charging you for a different offense, like burning trash without a permit, or endangering the property of another - if the fire spreads, or endangering another person - if a firefighter is injured while answering the call that your neighbors made to 911.
So before you burn it, call the fire department and see what THEIR rules are.

Yes, it is yours do what you want with it. As long as you don't try to collect insurance on it, it is perfectly legal. Just do it somewhere out of town where you won't get charged with causing a public hazard. Most cities have laws about burning, especially if its on public property. You can also sell it for scrap which or sell the individual parts, call your nearby junkyard they should buy it and tow it for free.

Sure you can, if it's paid off. Just contact your local fire dept and donate it for their training. Then, not only can you have it legally burned, you can write it off as a charity contribution too. So don't forget to get a receipt from the fire department.

no. you could get charged with arson, the epa could charge you with damaging the eviroment, there is a danger to your self and others if there is an explosion or if there are toxic fumes. Besides what do you do with it stuff that does not burn? Take it to a scrap metal yard and have it crushed then nobody will have it.

Q: If I get flexible enough, could I stick my foot up my butt and jump around on one leg sqawking like a chicken while blowing boogers out of my nose into my bottom lip?

A: Oh yeah man, that's a great question!
