You just have to throw that all out the window. Trust me, I did, when I got into 9th grade, I decided that I wasn't going to just sit there and wait for the guy to notice me, or at least come up to me. I'm not confident at all when it comes to my looks, but, I figure, who cares? If the guys says no, then move on. I know that there is a guy out there that I will meet and love blah blah blah... Just "let go" Go talk to him.. and if you don't have the confidence ,like me, then just think of it like, "Who cares?" You will be glad you did, trust me. I'm 20 years old, and never been turned down. Good luck!!

Think long and hard about this. Here's what I want you to do.
Forget all of your fears and anxieties. Keep completely cool and look him in the face (though it may be a little tough) with a smile. Pretend he's one of your childhood friends or whatever.
"I like you, and I wanted to know if you'll have lunch or go see a movie with me some time. Sound good?"
Let go of whatever's frightening you about confronting him. Let it slide straight off your shoulders. The more you really think about it, deep down inside, there's absolutely no need to be nervous about that sort of thing.

Now you know what guys have to go thru ... :)
Well, ask a common friend to introduce you to him or just walk up to him and talk to him, men aren't ruthless and cold like women when it comes to blowing away people.
